RVA MakerFest

The 2017 RVA MakerFest returned to the Science Museum of Virginia for the 4th year, offering free admission to the museum and fun activities for local families.

The goals of RVA MakerFest are:
To break down the silos between existing makers and maker groups to encourage a collaborative DIY community in Metro Richmond.
Inspire all Richmonders to embrace tinkering and creation as paths to learning and innovation
To advance the STEAM disciplines–science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics–among children to seed more makers
